What is Media server?

A media server is the machine that relays audio and video between participants in a meeting. Its capacity limits how many people can be served at once.

Why it matters

The media server is where the real work of a meeting happens: it receives audio and video and sends it onwards. Its capacity, and how many servers a service runs, decide how many people can meet at once without quality loss.

How it works in KEZAYO Meet

KEZAYO spreads meetings across several media nodes.

A practical tip

If you plan a very large session, tell the provider in advance or use a webinar format designed for big audiences.
