What is Passkey?
A passkey is a passwordless sign-in method that uses your device’s unlock method such as fingerprint or face.
Why it matters
A passkey replaces the password with a cryptographic key that stays on your device and is unlocked by your fingerprint, face or screen lock. It cannot be phished in the same way a password can.
